Hey all, I’ve just joined Pinterest.  And not in a I-just-put-Monster-Sweetheart-on-Pinterest kind of way, but it’s the very first time I joined at all and started pinning anything.

I was holding out because I heard it was one of those addictive internet time sucks.  And I’m not sure that it was in the best interest of my ideal time management situation, but it sure is fun!

maybe the journey is the destination

I want to show you these, some of my favorite items from Etsy.

I love being a seller on Etsy partially because I’m so inspired by the other members of this artists community.  It really is  more than a marketplace- it’s a home for creations that may be searching for their voice.  Or artists with a voice, waiting to be heard.  It is easy to get lost in the jumble of awesome bits and pieces. Sometimes I feel like I’m struggling and want to give up.  But if the destination is the journey, then I am doing better than I give myself credit for, because I’m jumping in and putting one foot in front of the other.  And that is all I can ask for right now.

Oh no! Windsor Button is Closing!

I am sad to say that Windsor Button in downtown Boston is closing.

Polar Bear Hood

Happy Groundhog Day! Looks like it’s going to be an early spring! I for one am quite happy.  I could do a dance like this:

Photoshoot with mom on the beach

After breakfast with my mom a couple weeks ago we decided to have a little photoshoot!  We drove over to a nice little beach and I got some great pics!  I immediately started using some of them in  my Etsy shop!

This is the first time I’ve seen a photo of what someone has made from one of my patterns!  I am so ridiculously excited, and it came out so well!!!
